Summary
Lidl US is seeking an Audit Specialist to join our team! The Audit Specialist supports the Audit team in examination of defined Lidl US processes and procedures. This role works closely with Director of Audit, Auditors, and internal business partners to provide support during the examination of current standards and the delivery of feedback on the areas of improvement.
What You’ll Do
Essential Functions
- Oversees and manages assigned projects, work processes, systems and/or procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conducts data entry and data management for various department projects
- Updates guidelines, standard operating procedures, and instructional materials
- Assists with the development and translation of audit manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams and workflows
- Ensures timely distribution of audit reports
- Extracts data, analyzes and compiles audit results, prepares reports for Senior Management and creates presentations
- Supports the monitoring of audit projects in relation to quality, adherence to deadlines, process optimization, and internal communication between departments
- Monitors the processing of corrective measures and escalates those that are overdue
- Collaborates with Lidl International subject matter experts on audit topics
- Supports Audit department –helps with administrative and organizational tasks, ensures their timely completion
- Ensures flow of information within assigned area and with relevant departments
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Affinity to data analysis, new software tools and information technology
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to speak German
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a related field
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
Preferred Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
• Previous experience in retail/grocery industry or related field as administrative assistant, data analyst
