Web App Marketing Specialist

Summary

The Specialist - Marketing (Web App) is primarily responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities for the Content Management System (CMS), Lidl’s digital flyer and maintaining Lidl's online presence for each online store location listing. The Specialist works closely with other marketing team members and vendors and is responsible for communicating and collaborating in a positive and professional manner with all parties.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategically plan promotional weekly assets and post on web and app through the CMS
  • Work with various departments to create new landing pages in the CMS to support business initiatives 
  • Partner with the creative team to ensure assets are received on time for entry into the CMS
  • Work with vendor to promote Lidl's weekly digital flyer
  • Ensure Lidl's online store location listings are up-to-date and new locations are posted in a timely manner on both internal and external online directories 
  • Use data and analytics to constantly improve and optimize digital channels 
  • Monitor all online activities
  • Assist in the implementation of the digital strategy
  • Analyze competitors’ digital activities 
     

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field 
  • 1 - 3 years of related working experience
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment
  • High energy with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel)
  • CMS knowledge
  • Ability to create collaborative relationships across internal departments and with external vendors 
  • Ability to assess the impact of issues to appropriately escalate
  • Extremely detail orientated with high quality and accurate proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational skills to set priorities and manage time
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels 
  • Eager and willing to learn new areas of digital marketing
