Summary

The Warehouse Maintenance Technician in the Facilities Department is responsible for maintaining and
repairing a wide range of equipment and systems across the regional distribution center. This role requires
an elevated level of technical proficiency and the ability to work as a team or independently and
efficiently in a demanding environment whilst completing work orders and following a recommended
routines based on workload under the direction of the Warehouse Maintenance Manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined
    contractual or policy requirements
  • Receive and prioritize work orders from various building occupants, management, and automated
    systems.
  • Execute repairs on a wide range of equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical
    fixtures, landscaping, Store and RDC MHE and building infrastructure.
  • Install new equipment, fixtures, and components according to specifications and safety
    regulations as directed by the Warehouse Maintenance Manager.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal
    equipment performance and building and staff safety.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials, ensuring adequate stock for repairs and
    maintenance.
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
    and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Communicate clearly with store and warehouse colleagues, management, and other technicians
    regarding work progress, potential disruptions, and safety concerns.
  • Keep tools, workshop, equipment, and work areas clean and organized to ensure efficiency and
    safety.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to innovative technologies, industry best practices, and safety
    regulations.
  • Review of the warehouse and racking condition with the help of checklists and, if necessary,
    damage assessment and record keeping.
  • Obtain and maintain in-house certifications for equipment repairs.

What You’ll Need

  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field
  • US Driver's License
