Supply Chain Analyst (HQ)

Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst supports the regional supply chain department and stores to ensure a smooth movement of goods and flow of information within the planning, ordering, and controlling processes. The objective of the position is to optimize the stock supply and availability and to support ordering from the stores in the interest of maximizing turnover. This position will be aligned with one of the RDC Supply Chain sub-departments: Stock Management, Promotion Management, Freshness.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute tasks related to different projects within the ordering process
  • Coordinate and control order-related information to and from the RDC
  • Communicate between Regional teams and other HQ operational departments
  • Analyze promotional quantities
  • Identify inconsistencies in the sales volume, allocated quantities, and data maintenance
  • Update guidelines, standard operating procedures, and instructional materials
  • Support the planning, control and follow-up of promotional campaigns

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in related field
  • In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
  • Prior experience in Space Planning Software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Math & Science, Technology or Engineering [Preferred]
  • Knowledge of retail operations [Preferred]
  • Demand planning and forecasting modeling [Preferred]
  • Driver’s license [Preferred]
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to organize data, analyze data and spot trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment, including the store(s), distribution center(s), warehouse(s), and/or corporate office(s) with the capability to switch job functions/roles quickly
  • Ability to work in situations that involve prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting and/or bending more than half the time
