Sr. IT Support Specialist - Store Systems

Lidl US is looking for a Sr. Service & Support Specialist to support our Store Solutions team. This role is the 2nd level escalation support person for business applications and systems mainly used by store employees.

What You’ll Do

  • Take full ownership of the full-cycle completion of a ticket, ensuring appropriate resolution
  • Strong customer service, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and quickly grasp new concept in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues
  • Ability to work with diverse audiences, including highly technical IT professionals, developers, architects, and management

What You’ll Need

  • Associate’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience in technical support in an enterprise environment for at least 2 years
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server and networking fundamentals and knowledge of basic hardware concepts
  • Basic knowledge of how business applications work
  • Understanding of databases and the general functioning of software
  • Familiar with the way of working and the process of a ticketing system
  • Well-known with the handling of modern communication medias
  • This position may require domestice travel for training purposes less than 15% of the time
