Summary

Lidl US is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the overall owned digital marketing strategy and overseeing projects while adhering to department objectives and reporting on developments. This role is the primary contact for all topics related to Lidl US-owned digital channels including, but not limited to the social, website, app, email, push notification, digital leaflet and online store location listings. The ideal candidate will have advanced analytics and retail experience. 

What You’ll Do

  • Build strategy for impactful marketing campaigns designed to build brand awareness, drive sales, and increase brand loyalty, in collaboration with the Board and other departments
  • Manage execution of marketing activities, liasing with Company Leadership, Public Relations, Promotions and Supply Chain to ensure effectiveness 
  • Develop and optimize existing projects and initiatives within the digital marketing department
  • Coordinate preparation of regular activity reports; reports in KPIs, metrics, SLAs, executive reporting, and other ad hoc reports as required from management
  • Encourage the targeted, professional and personal development of the employees 
  • Ensure the team is adhering to processes, procedures, compliance, metrics, SLAs, and other responsibilities as defined by management
  • Ensuring a positive and motivating working atmosphere and smooth, effective and efficient cooperation

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field 
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in CPG, retail, grocery or related B2C industry  
  • Experience leading a team
  • Vendor management experience
  • Project management experience 
  • High energy with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel)
  • Experience with Sales Force
  • Experience with CMS and Marketing Cloud 
  • SEO & Social knowledge 
  • Ability to liaison with all levels or an organization, including executives
  • Ability to assess the impact of issues to appropriately escalate
  • Eager and willing to learn evolving areas of digital marketing
