Summary

Lidl US is seeking a Sr. Real Estate Analyst who will support the Real Estate Managers with financial analysis and the administration of Lidl’s corporate portfolio of leases. This individual will focus on financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting of the real estate portfolio. The individual also manages all lease related documents and data used to monitor, report, and manage all critical dates and lease conditions.

 

**Hybrid Telework Policy allows for up to 5 days of work from home a week depending on business needs and manager discretion.**

What You’ll Do

  • Monthly analysis and reporting on plan deviation for key real estate expense accounts
  • Review lease contracts and supporting documentation for new store locations
  • Coordinate with third party CAM auditor 
  • Maintain document management database with all lease related documents
  • Provide oversight of lease abstraction and enter data in lease administration platform
  • Preparation of executive level reporting using data combined from multiple systems and departments. 
  • Monitor and report portfolio changes and critical dates in relation to lease obligations and rights and responsibilities. 
  • Create annual real estate portfolio budget and forecast
  • Review and approve lease document data revisions
  • Lead compliance and legal standards implementations within the department

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or related field
  • 2+ year(s) of relevant experience
  • Excellent financial, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and understand leases, rent schedules, LOIs, etc. 
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Microsoft Excel or other programs
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in retail leasing from either tenant or landlord perspective preferred
  • Experience with lease administration software platforms such as SAP RE-FX preferred
