Senior IT Manager- Client & Apps
Summary
Lidl US is searching for the next Senior IT Manager- Client & Apps to join our team! The Senior Manager - Client & Apps is responsible for the planning, engineering, and administering of IT related infrastructure components, including the implementation and design of an enterprise level Windows Domain. The role works in different specialized fields, including, but not limited to, server and Active Directory management, application disaster recovery, networking and communication, client and output management.
*This position reports to our Headquarters in Arlington, VA on a hybrid 3-day schedule.
What You’ll Do
• Supervise, mentor, and manage multiple team members/managers in accordance with Company principles and management model
• Oversee the development, operation, and execution of assigned programs and initiatives in collaboration with cross department stakeholders
• Design process improvement mechanisms including automation of existing processes/tools to ensure standardization and consistency
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and processes in coordination with the Infrastructure Director and international colleagues
• Work with both international and infrastructure department colleagues to implement a comprehensive disaster recovery/business continuity solution for all mission critical applications and processes
• Lead a team of direct reports to ensure that all systems are running aligned to business processes
• Develop a motivated team that strives from excellence within the department
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server assets in headquarters and warehouses
• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure the stable operation and function of the patching and backup strategy to ensure the function of all mission critical applications
• Coordinate with senior management to define the strategy and objectives for areas of responsibility
• Define roles & responsibilities for team members and ensure team’s accountability
• Leading the full employee lifecycle which includes recruiting, daily management and performance analysis
• Review quality of work for team deliverables
• Plan of resources according to priorities
• Be the SME across multiple systems/processes
• Performs other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Expertise in Microsoft Server Operating Systems
• Expertise in Windows Active Directory domain architecture and management
• Knowledge of cloud offerings including Microsoft Azure or others
• Exposure to enterprise networking concepts and design
• Manage risk and issue escalation topics/issues
• Ability to build a relationship, trust, and facilitate communication framework with business departments and vendors
• Ability to facilitate program management and timely completion of deliverables
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or Business Administration
• 4-6 years of experience in a related field
• In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
Preferred Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
• Microsoft MCP or MCSE
• Experience administrating servers in a virtual environment
• Experience administrating databases including Oracle, MS SQL, and My SQL
