Summary

The Senior FP&A (Business Controlling) Manager provides support to executive management and operational departments with relevant key performance indicators for targeted management of all business processes within the company. The individual acts as a Business Partner and central contact point/representative for the department at HQ as well as the regional administration department (for FP&A topics). In addition the role acts as the central point of contact, supports all business departments in operational planning and controls the support for all business intelligence products. 

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the FP&A Business partner for national departments and contact person for international departments
  • Monitor and analyze KPI’s, thereby identifying risks, errors, problems and improvement opportunities
  • Upskill colleagues by creating a culture of experience exchange with the aim of improving understanding and efficiency of the department’s processes and products
  • Train and guide the work of other team members, quality checks on work and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Indicate potential for improvement and developing measures jointly with business departments, by hosting regular cross-departmental and cross-divisional exchanges
  • Cultivate a culture of learning and knowledge extension in the department to better understand the “why” behind tasks and therefore increase efficiency
  • Manipulate and interpret large sets of business data using the Business Intelligence Software
  • Assist in relevant business projects relevant to controlling and manage independent projects with direct reports
  • Compile standard reports and standard presentations according to defined reporting structures and KPIs as part of regular reporting and planning
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Sciences/Project Management
  • 5+ years of experience in related field
  • 2+ years of experience in leading teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and deliver accurate results
  • Preferred Knowledge of VBA and SQL
