The Specialist - IT (Service & Support) (Regional) is responsible for the quality execution of assigned IT tasks. They include set-up, administration, technical support, troubleshooting as well as on-site interventions in the RDC and stores and training for employees.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide support to users in technical matters and answer queries regarding the use of IT equipment
  • Ensure high standards of quality, stability, and consistency of the IT system environment according to Lidl US’ principles of administration and international guidelines
  • Provide training and support for new hires, warehouse employees, and managers
  • Prepare for new store openings by executing and checking IT readiness with the Sales Operations team
  • Travel to stores for setup, troubleshooting, and replacement of hardware/software as needed
  • Prioritize issues and ensure they are resolved within the defined SLAs
  • Communicate with various stakeholders to resolve IT tickets and address various departmental tasks and projects

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in deploying, administrating and/or supporting enterprise solutions
  • Technical degree or equivalent work experience in technical support in an enterprise environment
  • Proven skills in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation
  • Ability to operate in a multi-user high-pressure environment
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines
  • Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
  • Understanding of server and networking fundamentals and knowledge of basic concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours occasionally
  • This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers up to 25% of the time
