Summary

The Regional Employee Relations Partner provides expertise and guidance in strategy development as well as execution, planning, and facilitation of human resource activies. They serve as the face of Lidl HR to our employees in stores and warehouses and support on all regional Employee Relations (ER) and Employee Engagement topics. This role receives a company car as travel is required 65% of day time travel.

 

*Occasional overnight travel may be expected*

What You’ll Do

  •     Consulting with organizational leaders regarding support and action planning for key business objectives
  •     Providing counsel for organization leadership on conduct concerns, corrective action, and performance improvement
  •     Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure consistent application and interpretation of Company polices as well as local, state and federal regulations
  •     Conducting site visits, focus groups, and pulse checks to assess workforce culture and needs
  •     Analyzing reporting and other data sources on a regular basis for relevant KPIs and workplace trends to identify gaps or areas requiring attention
  •     Developing, implementing and presenting human resources and other leadership training initiatives in retail, warehouse and administrative operations
  •     Conflict resolution and mediation of employee disputes and/or complaints

What You’ll Need

  • 3-5 years of experience in related field
  • BA/BS degree in related field or 5+ years of Human Resources experience in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local labor laws, HR best practices and conducting employee investigations
  • Ability to recognize problems and issues at an early stage and efficiently promote corporate culture and code of conduct
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, GPHR certifications
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA
  • Preferred: 5 - 7 years of experience in related field
