Real Estate Analyst (Syosset Office)

Summary

The Regional Real Estate Analyst provides day-to-day support to the Real Estate and Construction teams. The analyst also supports the Real Estate team with all tasks related to the Real Estate transitions including strategy, construction, and the on-going lifecycle of an operating store. The role ensures projects are properly set up, assigned and tracked. 

What You’ll Do

  • Perform extensive strategic real estate market analysis for entire portfolio of stores and sites
  • Create detailed analytic reports and maps depicting key demographic, competition, traffic, cannibalization, and other decision-making metrics
  • Complete complex initial site feasibility including concept, layout, and financial analysis
  • Assist Real Estate Managers in compiling the documents and putting together the proposal packages for the Board for approval of new investments
  • Analyze local ordinances and zoning codes to determine development parameters 
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor all site development, construction, department budgets, and financial reports 
  • Report expenditure status to management with anticipated deviations and forecasted total costs 
  • Identify, develop, and propose opportunities for business/process improvement 
  • Assist with administrative tasks, as needed, such as preparing meeting minutes, and electronically filing documents

What You’ll Need

  • BA/BS degree in related field
  • 1+ year(s) of relevant experience
  • Ability to work independently and react quickly in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team and develop solutions to problems
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and manage projects efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Highly organized, extremely detail oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
