Logistics Analyst

Summary

This entry level Logistics Analyst role works within the HQ team providing support to the regional distribution center through process optimization, operations analysis and structured problem solving. We are looking for an Analyst who is a strategic, forward-thinking individual that is eager to develop and standardize processes with scalability and growth in mind.

 

Our Logistics Department ensures that we receive, pick and ship products from our Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs) to our stores. Logistics ensures we can run efficiently, maintain high quality standards and scale rapidly.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement projects/ system developments to reduce costs and improve health and safety
  • Develop and conduct training on Standard Operating Procedures
  • Support future openings of RDCs
  • Conduct data analysis using Power BI and Excel
  • Provide SAP EWM/SAP ERP support to the regions
  • Develop, monitor and track KPIs to identify trends and potential cost savings initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments on the implementation of new processes and to solve problems
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise in the RDC and provide insight/analysis
  • Conduct on-site analysis of warehouse processes and improvements
  • Conduct audits of warehouse procedures to ensure adherence to International and US procedures

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or related subject.
  • In lieu of degree, 1+ years of logistics, operations or supply chain areas will meet the education requirements)
  • Desire to learn, develop and challenge yourself in a demanding and dynamic environment
  • Passion for working independently and as part of the team
  • The ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels of the business
  • Strong structured analytical and organizational skills with great attention to details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) 
  • Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence software [Preferred]
  • This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers up to 50% of the time
  • This position requires overnight domestic travel up to 50% of the time
