IT Procurement Manager (Asset Management)(Remote)

Lidl US is seeking an IT Procurement Manager who will be responsible for IT cost, budget controlling, sourcing and procurement strategy for hardware/software, and continuous IT cost process improvement. Core functions include monitoring and presenting monthly and annual budgets for the department, contract management, internal IT cost management consulting, cost reporting, and interfacing with internal accounting and controlling departments. 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage annual IT budget including future cost planning, cashflow and invoicing
  • Manage, file, and administer contracts and maintenance records
  • Document accounting tasks, create presentations and coordinate department projects
  • Oversee all software licenses for Lidl US IT contracts
  • Research, analyze, and present cost-improvement measures
  • Drive change and enforce best practices to ensure IT departments becomes more cost-efficient over time, and all sub-departments work comparably
  • Implement regular systematic evaluations for risk management and identify/implement solutions

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 2+ years of IT asset management and procurement
  • In lieu of degree, a total number of 4 years of experience in IT cost controlling or project management will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
  • Experience presenting to upper management with stellar PowerPoint presentation skills and corporate communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with KPI Management
  • This position may commute between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers less than 25% of the time
