Summary

IT Controlling Manager within Service Management (Service & Support department) is responsible for IT cost and budget controlling, sourcing and procurement strategy for hardware/sofware, and continuous IT cost process improvement. Core functions include monitoring/presenting monthly and annual budgets for the department, contract management, internal IT cost management consulting, IT cost reporting, and interfacing with internal accounting and cost controlling departments.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage annual IT budget including future cost planning
  • Manage monthly IT cashflow and invoicing
  • Manage, file, and administer contracts and maintenance records
  • Document accounting tasks, create presentations and coordinate department projects with IT controlling interests
  • Overview of all software licenses for Lidl US IT contracts
  • Research, analyze, and present cost-improvement measures
  • Drive change and enforce best practices to ensure IT departments becomes more cost-efficient over time, and all sub-departments work comparably
  • Implementation of regular systematic evaluations
  • Identification of problems/causes and derivation of measures and solutions

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree with business focus
  • In lieu of degree, a total number of 6 years of experience in IT cost controlling or project management will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
  • KPI Management
  • English language skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookup, data management)
  • Presentation skills to upper management, strong PowerPoint aptitude absolutely required
  • This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers less than 25% of the time within a day
