Import Supply Chain Analyst

Summary

Lidl US is seeking an Import Supply Chain Analyst that will support the Head of Import department to ensure smooth movement of goods and flow of information within the planning, ordering, and controlling processes.  The goal of the Import Analyst is to maintain availability of stock for distribution centers for all goods carried. Forecasting and demand planning experience preferred. 

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and control order-related information to and from the import warehouse
  • Communicate between Regional teams and other HQ operational departments as well as leadership teams
  • Identify inconsistencies in the sales volume, allocated quantities, and data maintenance 
  • Update guidelines, standard operating procedures, and instructional materials
  • Analyze and support the planning, control and follow-up of promotional campaigns
  • Analyze and understand relevant import and customs regulations in detail and act accordingly

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in related field
  • Demand planning and forecast modeling experience preferred
  • In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and analyze data and spot trends
