German Speaking Contracts Analyst (Remote)

The Contracts Analyst - Purchasing Data Management is responsible for the creation, review, and release of contracts. The Analyst must be involved in every stage of the Contract process, from obtaining the data from Suppliers to Contract execution by all parties. The Analyst requires the ability to perform complex data entry and a superb attention to detail as well as a solid understanding of department processes and procedures. This position will liaise with multiple stakeholders within the business, such as Sr. Analysts and Managers, as well as external stakeholders, such as suppliers.


What You’ll Do

  • Maintain item and supplier master data using the in-house contract development tool (EKS)
  • Perform complex data entry in various systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Create contracts for the private label food and branded departments
  • Create contracts for the Non-food department for nationally purchased items
  • Review data and contracts as a part of the 4-eye release principle
  • Manage contract workflow from assignment to obtaining required signatures and filing from appropriate internal teams and external suppliers
  • Run and maintain reports as requested by upper management
  • Assist with the development of Training Materials (manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, project plans)
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external partners

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • In lieu of degree, 2 - 3 years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
  • Fluency in German
  • Ability to evaluate processes for optimization purposes 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and conflicting priorities
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks to ensure accuracy and completion within given deadline
  • Attention to detail
