Lidl US is seeking a Promotions Manager to join our Purchasing family. The ideal Food Promotions Manager is an analytical and creative promotional planning professional. This manager will be responsible for building promotional planning of items to drive top line growth and profitability. The role is required to balance and prioritize workloads of multiple processes to meet deadlines on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.

What You’ll Do

•    Plan weekly promotional activity, including item selection, pricing, sales and gross margins which support key company initiatives as well as deliver KPIs
•    Product life cycle management and review
•    Executes market analysis
•    Collaborate internally with cross functional partners in Buying, Marketing, Supply Chain, Master Data and International
•    Perform in depth analysis of past and future promotions
•    Manage workflows for assigned team projects/tasks
•    Provide support to Senior Manager and above
•    Ensure accuracy of customer facing advertising materials

What You’ll Need

•    Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field 
•    In Lieu of Bachelor’s degree in business min 3-5 years experience in related field
•    Strong financial acumen
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Ability to meet deadlines with overlapping processes and tasks
•    Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills

•    German fluency preferred but not required
