Facilities Manager

Summary

The Manager - Facilities is responsible for daily operations of the head office building. This position is responsible for all projects, contracts, preventative and reactive maintenance for Headquarters (HQ). In addition, the individual manages internal and external contractors.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, implement, maintain, and continuously improve Facilities Management (FM) HQ processes
  • Serve as main point of contact for FM HQ project organization and department coordination
  • Plan and manage the areas of security, open office, concepts, and FM HQ organization
  • Oversee daily operations including Security, Janitorial Services, and re-active maintenance
  • Oversee and Manage contracts for HQ including but not limited to HVAC, Chiller, Boiler, BMS, Security, and Janitorial
  • Manage entire contract process from RFI to completed RFP including but not limited to R&D, writing SOW, negotiating, tracking contracts and renewals, and re-bidding work
  • Design, implement, and oversee all new projects and construction including but not limited to,Building Wellness Rooms, re-fitting out office space, and creating storage spaces
  • Manage and oversee the building engineer and receptionists

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2+ years of experience in related field
  • 1+ years of project management experience
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Strong problem solving, written, and oral comprehension
  • This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers less than 25% of the time within a day
