Summary

Lidl US is seeking an Executive Assistant who will support the Executive Team of Lidl US. This role manages Senior leadership by organizing calendars and departmental priorities. The Executive Assistant is the liaise with multiple stakeholders within the business, such as directors or vice presidents, and makes business decisions based upon the company needs. The Executive Assistant has the ability to complete a high volume of tasks and focus on deadline sensitivity with minimal guidance or supervision.

 

**This position is Hybrid, requiring 3 days in office and 2 days working from home**

What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and Executive Team of Lidl US and their corporate teams to include tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items
  • Manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements to include scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements for the corporate office
  • Manage execution of meetings and trainings including preparation and documentation
  • Drive key team activities (such as board meeting agendas, all-hands meetings) including locations, invitations, logistics, meals, etc.
  • Handle, respond to, and direct incoming correspondence and calls with corporate and international teams in a timely manner
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercises a high degree of discretion and judgement regarding sensitive matters
  • Prepare reports for management and process invoices and expenses
  • Manage changing workloads and conflicting priorities

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in related field required
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe
  • Fluency in German Language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
