Our HR family is seeking an Administrative Assistant – HR to support the Employment Practices team (which consists of Employment Law, Employee Relations, HR Compliance, and Workplace Investigations) in their administrative tasks to ensure legal compliance and a strong organizational culture. This role will include tasks such as employment law poster compliance, scheduling, researching, filing, and reporting.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with all aspects of administrative support for litigiation and investigations such as researching, notetaking, document collection, scheduling and preparing litigation binders
  • Perform regular metrics and data reporting to HR Leadership and Lidl International
  • Assist with background check process including monitoring inbox, responding to recruiters and applicants, and preparing monthly metrics
  • Coordinate federal/state employment law poster compliance
  • Support HR Compliance team with monitoring and distributing updates on new state and federal employment law legislation
  • File and maintain employment law documents such as severance agreements, settlement agreements, demand letters, witness interview notes, and investigation closure letters
  • Assist Employee Relations team with offboarding process including communicating exit instructions, preparing benefit letters, and coordinating all other documents and correspondence that relates to the offboarding process
  • Organize and prepare litigation tracker for regular reporting to Lidl’s employment practices liability insurance carrier
  • Support I-9 auditing 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in related field
  • Ability to balance multiple project and tasks
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English language
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
