Lidl US is seeking a Corporate Compliance Manager who will be responsible for the implementation of compliance initiatives, related training, internal monitoring, and risk mitigation. Areas of focus include anti-corruption, anti-fraud, antitrust, and data privacy. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a fast-paced and international environment, communicating, and partnering effectively with all levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Compliance Counsel in the implementation, continuous review, and updating of compliance programs and systems.
  • Perform internal audits on existing policies and procedures, conduct investigations, and develop recommendations that align with Lidl US initiatives as well as Lidl International standards.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships with other departments to ensure compliance initiatives are being carried out.
  • Track, monitor, and respond to business queries related to third party due diligence reviews, ethics, donations & gift policies, data privacy, and miscellaneous compliance matters. 
  • Provide guidance and advice on compliance-related issues to all departments.  
  • Develop and facilitate new and ongoing compliance trainings for all employees.
  • Maintain an effective intra and inter organizational communication policy.

What You’ll Need

  • JD / LLM or international equivalent preferred but not required.
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience in Corporate/Regulatory Compliance. 
  • Background in governmental/internal investigations and audits, developing training materials, and public speaking a plus. 
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
  • History of teamwork, project management, and leadership. 
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. 
  • German language skills preferred but not required. 
  • CCEP and CIPP certificates a plus. 
  • This position commutes between stores, regional offices, and/or distribution centers less than 25% of the time.
