Our Regional Construction team is seeking a Construction Analyst or Construction Assistant to join their Atlanta or Charlotte Real Estate Property Office. This role will be based out of Atlanta but also supporting the Construction teams in the Carolinas. This role provides day-to-day support to the Construction Team. You will ensure projects are properly set up, assigned and tracked.  A successful candidate will be able to navigate difficult situations, find solutions, and work in an ever-changing environment. 

What You’ll Do

  • Provide daily support to the Development & Construction team by monitoring entitlement progress, bidding processes, assisting with construction meetings and organize and review construction site documents
  • Review complex ordinances and zoning codes to determine development parameters
  • Develop, maintain and, monitor all site development and construction budgets and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with Real Estate Managers on projects during site acquisition and entitlement process
  • Enter and maintain all data in programs and systems while ensuring upkeep and accuracy
  • Prepare and organize training content for internal training courses
  • Assemble and review documentation required for Change Order Approval

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree with relative construction experience
  • In lieu of degree, 4 - 6 years of experience in related field will meet the education requirements listed above
  • Knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, health and safety regulations
  • Problem solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
