Summary
Lidl US is searching for the next Construction Analyst to join our team! The Construction Analyst provides day-to-day support to the Construction Team. The role ensures projects are properly set up, assigned, and tracked.
** This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Arlington, VA, and follows a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in-office. **
What You’ll Do
Essential Functions
• Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements
• Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
• Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans
• Analyze construction processes and requirements and develop corresponding process and dataflows
• Organize and review construction site documents
• Assist with construction process solution testing strategies, conditions, and evaluation of expected results
• Produce technical and financial analysis in support of project and business solutions
What You’ll Need
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, health, and safety regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Ability to work independently
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-3 years of experience in a related field
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
Physical Job Requirements
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Travel Requirements
• This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers up to 25% of the time
• This position requires overnight domestic travel up to 25% of the time
