Summary
Lidl US is searching for the next Manager- Non Food Buying to join our team! This role is responsible for the profitable planning of retail prices, marketing execution, and competitive analysis of all weekly and seasonal Non-Food promotions based on market analysis and company objectives. The role is also responsible for leading a team of employees.
What You’ll Do
- Effectively delegate and guide the work of other team members in accordance with Company principles and management model
- Implement and manage assigned programs, processes and initiatives through effective delegation and collaboration with stakeholders
- Analyze and evaluate current processes and projects for recommended optimization
- Execute weekly and seasonal Non-Food price planning by taking into account all performance KPI’s such as margin, sales, write-offs, price changes, and stock levels
- Oversee ongoing competitive analysis to ensure competitive pricing in the market
- Provide comprehensive pricing strategy across both INT and Domestic items
- Provide strategic leadership for the team, and develop solutions to stock issues and low sales from a pricing perspective
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy for all NF items in collaboration with Marketing and Merchandising
- Manage the overall PV budget and strategically determine product promotions
- Manage product related issues by communicating with Quality Assurance, International Purchasing, and Legal and Compliance

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• Strong financial acumen to effectively plan profitable promotions and sales plans
• Ability to manipulate data and maintain high volumes of information in Microsoft Excel
• General retail market knowledge
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience in a related field
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
