Buying Systems Analyst

The Buying Systems Analyst takes ownership of a variety of tasks following, upholding, and optimizing departmental standard processes. This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This role supports the department by working on multiple projects simultaneously, suggesting optimization opportunities, and facilitating system quality tests and rollouts. This position will generate reports on a variety of topics and will be required to process map and project plan to ensure deadlines are met. The Analyst will liaise with multiple stakeholders within the business as well as external business partners.


What You’ll Do

  • Implement and carry out process improvements designed by the Projects & Buying Systems Team
  • Coordinate process adherence for systems across the wider Purchasing Team, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Logistics Teams
  • Work on multiple complex project steps simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment, including tracking and reporting on work packages and tasks
  • Understand the objective and impact of changes when transforming business processes into requirements
  • Conduct meetings and trainings including preparation and documentation
  • Develop handbooks, reports, presentations, and document any changes with a high level of accuracy

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Excel experience
  • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
  • SQL / PowerBi experience is preferred

  • Salesforce experience
  • German Language Preferred Not Required
  • High attention to detail and ability to scrutinize data for accuracy
  • Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to evaluate processes for optimization purposes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks to ensure accuracy and completion within given deadline
